This is to let you know about an excellent opportunity for your graduate students and postdocs. A joined MIT-JHU-Cornell-PSU team proposed the NSF/DOE QUANTUM SCIENCE SUMMER SCHOOL (QS3) , to take place at Johns Hopkins campus in Baltimore, MD,  June 5 – 16.  

The purpose of this school is to educate graduate students and postdocs in key topics of interest in quantum science and their applications to new technologies in academic and industrial contexts. Applicants from the fields of condensed matter physics, materials science, and disciplines of quantum science in engineering, chemistry, and related fields are welcome to apply.  

QS3 will support most travel and local costs for students. This includes reimbursement for domestic travel including economy airfare up to $600, dormitory room, and meals.
