Contributions to the Excellence in Physics fund are used in a variety of productive ways throughout the Department—to support our award-winning outreach programs, to provide student recruiting scholarships, to support undergraduate hands-on research projects, and to create a stimulating intellectual environment through support of special seminars, visiting scholars, and student travel to conferences and symposia.
