Physics Qualifying Exam Information Session, Wednesday, June 21

Lance Cooper will hold an informal physics qualifying exam information session from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21 in the Interaction Room (204 Loomis). Pizza and drinks will be served!
During this information session, I'll go over: (i) basic information about the physics qualifying exam (e.g., when and where it will be held); (ii) the rules and procedures that will be associated with the upcoming qualifying exam in August; and (iii) general advice on preparing for the physics qualifying exam. For this last portion, I plan to invite a few grad students who've passed the physics qualifying exam to give their perspectives on best practices for preparing for and taking the qualifying exam.
