The Fall 2018 Physics Careers seminar series continues on Thursday, October 4, 2018 with Kristina Wright from Engineering Career Services:

Title: The Art of Networking

Speakers: Kristina Wright, Engineering Career Services

Abstract: We know it takes a certain, special type of person to genuinely enjoy the job search process. For the rest of us who may need a little help, there’s Engineering Career Services. Whether you are already job hunting, just beginning to explore career options or simply researching opportunities, this presentation will cover ECS resources and shares some easy, non-threatening ways to connect with others to meet your goals. Things you'll leave the workshop knowing include: how to develop your own results oriented resume and strategies to maximize your success in the job search process!

Bio: Kristina Wright is an Associate Director at Engineering Career Services at the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign. She has fifteen years of higher education experience where she has developed innovative and results-oriented programming for students and creates mutually beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders. Kristina has an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Career Development from the University of Missouri and is a certified through the AAUW as a Salary Negotiator.
