Teaching Position at Butler University Starting August 2019

The Physics & Astronomy Department of Butler University is looking for a non-tenure track instructor to begin teaching in August 2019. This is a one-year position, with possibility of continued re-appointment. We are looking for Ph. D. students that just graduated or students that have satisfied their Ph. D. requirements except for their dissertation.

The teaching duties are:

1) Teach an introductory algebra-based physics course with one laboratory section per semester

2) Teach a physical science course for non-science majors, including two laboratory sections per semester.

3) Do a physics or astronomy research project with undergraduate students
