CDCM MRSEC Postdoctoral Fellowships

The Center for Dynamics and Control of Materials (CDCM), an NSF-supported Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC), is pleased to announce the competition for the 2020 CDCM MRSEC Postdoctoral Fellowships.

These postdoctoral positions are intended for early-career scientists with a research focus on any area of materials science and engineering. An earned Ph.D. is required. Successful candidates will be appointed as soon as January 2020 for a full-time, 12 month period as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Texas at Austin, renewable annually for up to three years based on performance and funding.

The selected fellow(s) will join the research group of a current CDCM faculty investigator. The current list of investigators and their areas of research, which include nanocrystals and nanocrystal assemblies, light-matter interactions in materials, materials characterization and imaging with high spatial and/or temporal resolution, soft-hard material interfaces, and correlated electron systems can be found at https://mrsec.utexas.edu/people.

Applications must be submitted online. Applications will require an up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV), list of publications, and a statement of your proposed research plans at CDCM. Applicants will need to provide contact information for two to three references and request that they email letters of recommendation to texasmrsec@utexas.edu .
