As physicists interested in the advancement of the discipline we must address systemic barriers in academia that have led to a gross underrepresentation of minorities, particularly Black Americans, in our field.

This webinar will feature a panel of physicists who have been actively involved with increasing diversity in physics and improving its culture. The panel will discuss why everyone from students to professors to administrators has an important role in building a diverse next generation of physicists. The panel will share ideas and concrete actions on what each of these groups can do to work toward this goal.

This will be the first event in a series of opportunities to get involved. The panel and Q&A will be recorded, so please register even if you cannot attend live and you will receive a link to the recording.
