Building a Better Undergrad Program (part 2)

I was invited to the Indiana University to give a colloquium on what we’ve done in our undergraduate programs at Illinois. It was great fun to see some old friends and to also share notes on physics programs and how best to educate students for the 21st century.  Indiana has a great  department with lots of very good people.    They are doing some really nice things with their program (example: medical physics) and it was fun to share ideas.   Lots of great questions and discussion during the talk, too.

Thanks to Prof. Jon Urheim for inviting and hosting me. I had a really nice visit.

The talk I gave is linked here.   This is very similar to the talk I gave at Florida.  It's fun and informative for me to get to go to these places and trade ideas about physics programs.
