The US National Lab system is a wonderful place to pursue science and still maintain an exciting life outside of work. At the US National labs you can work on everything from particle physics, electronics, Solid State lighting, nuclear fusion, materials science, and everything in between. I will share my experiences and perspectives after having worked at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM for nine, mostly wonderful, years.

Bio: Dr. Clark Snow received his PhD in Physics from UIUC in 2003, and he has since been a Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories.

Sandia National Laboratories is a multi-program laboratory managed and operated by Sandia Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation, for the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration under contract DE-AC04-94AL85000.
