Mathematical and Theoretical Physics Seminar: Gauge Invariant Target Space Entanglement

We formulate target space entanglement entropy in theories of matrices in a gauge invariant fashion, show how this can be calculated using a path integral representation, and discuss a proposal that this could provide a precise notion of entanglement between regions of the bulk dual.
