Develop More Coherent STEM Pathways from High School to College
We see this partnership as a powerful mechanism for creating more coherent pathways for students into engineering, while empowering and connecting physics educators across the state. Over time, the IPaSS Partnership Program will develop an infrastructure that allows for dynamic feedback cycles and the sharing of objectives, pedagogical tools and technology between high school and college teachers. This will enhance the overall continuity of a students’ educational experience as they transition from high school to college. Additionally, teachers within the Community of Practice will be able to fluidly share best practices, troubleshoot technical issues, provide advice on lessons and give feedback on lesson ideas. This network of teachers will expand as the program grows, leveraging the diverse insights of educators all over the state.
