Abstract: The US National Lab system is a wonderful place to pursue science and still maintain an exciting life outside of work. At the US National labs you can work on everything from particle physics, electronics, Solid State lighting, nuclear fusion, materials science, and everything in between. I will share my experiences and perspectives after having worked at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico for nine, mostly wonderful, years.

Bio: Dr. Clark Snow received his PhD in Physics from UIUC in 2003, and he has since been a Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories.

Recruiting: While he's in Urbana, Clark will be meeting with grad students interested in job opportunities at Sandia National Laboratory. If you would like to meet with Clark on Thursday, Oct. 4 or Friday, Oct. 5, please send him an e-mail, cssnow@sandia.gov, to arrange an interview. If you are unavailable Thursday or Friday, Clark will arrange for a phone interview.
