Alumna Subashri Rao to Give Next Physics Careers Seminar on April 24

The Spring 2014 Physics Careers seminar series continues on Thursday, April 24, 2014 with Dr. Subashri Rao, Nestle, Inc.

Time: 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014 (refreshments served at 9:30 a.m.)

Location: 204 Loomis Laboratory (Interaction Room)

Title:  Build Your Foundations - Skills That Will Last You a Lifetime

Speaker: Dr. Subashri Rao, Nestle, Inc.

Abstract: The focus of my presentation will be on the unique, marketable skills that a graduate student in Physics can bring to the work place. Skills that will help you build a career in any field.

Bio: Ph.D in Physics from the UIUC. Worked for 10 years in the Semiconductor Industry (HP, Agilent, Avago), in Failure Analysis and Yield engineering. Currently working for Nestle Inc. as a Goal Alignment Generalist, with focus on implementing effective organizational foundations & measures, to drive business results.
