Daniel Inafuku Awarded a 2017 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship!

Illinois Physics graduate student Daniel Inafuku has been awarded an 2017 NSF Graduate Research Fellowships.  Only 2000 fellowships were awarded from over 13,000 applications.  

Daniel is a second-year graduate student in the research group of Prof. Gina Lorenz.

Additionally, 4 Illinois Physics students earned Honorable Mention awards in the 2017 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship competition:  Joseph Chapman (Kwiat), Eli Chertkov (Bryan Clark), Sang Hyun Choi, and Davneet Kaur (Kuhlman).
