Caizhi Xu Awarded 2017-2018 Yee Fellowship Award!

Physics graduate student Caizhi Xu has been selected to receive a 2017-2018 Yee Memorial Fellowship from the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois. The prestigious award is named for Illinois alumnus Warren Yee (PhD, Civil Engineering, 1943). Yee fellowships across all departments in the College are presented annually to recognize outstanding research achievements by Chinese graduate students. Caizhi works with Prof. Tai Chiang, and his thesis research involves angle-resolved photoemission studies of ultrathin Sn(111) films.
