Karmela Padavic, Mindy Rak, and Rezvan Shahoei selected as 2017 Mavis Faculty Fellows

Illinois Physics grad students Karmela Padavic, Mindy Rak, and Rezvan Shahoei have been selected as Mavis Future Faculty Fellows for the 2017-2018 academic year. This program is designed to help doctoral students in the College of Engineering become the next generation of great engineering faculty. Karmela is a PhD student in Smitha Vishveshwara's group, Mindy is a PhD student in Peter Abbamonte's group, and Rezvan Shahoei is a PhD student in Emad Tajkhorshid's group.

Karmela, Mindy, and Rezvan join Illinois Physics grad students Katie Ansell, Rachael Mansbach, Yulia Maximenko, and Michelle Victora as former/current Mavis Future Faculty Fellows.
