Section Description
Topics to be covered include: atomic structure ; the interaction of atoms with electromagnetic fields ; atom trapping with lasers and magnetic fields ; laser cooling and evaporative cooling ; ultracold collisions & Feshbach resonances ; Bose & Fermi quantum gases ; properties of interacting atomic Bose-Einstein condensates ; quantum simulation with cold atoms & molecules.
