The Minor in Physics will expand your understanding of physics beyond the introductory level and deepen your understanding of fundamental physical principles. You will enhance your analytical skills, while developing your ability to keep abreast of an ever-changing technological world.
Depending on your choice of 300- and 400-level physics courses, a total of 21-25 hours is required.
To declare a minor in physics, first read the information about minors on the Office of the Provost website.
Get departmental approval from Senior Academic Advisor Merissa Milton in 290W Loomis Lab. You may schedule an appointment with her by emailing majones2@illinois.edu.
