Section Description
Linear waves in homogeneous and inhomogeneous solid elastic media.
Topics covered include: Propagation and generation in rods, in thin plates, homogeneous half spaces, layered half spaces, and guided waves in thick plates. Scattering, and Multiple scattering. Diffuse waves, and equipartition.
