The Spring 2013 Physics Careers seminar series opens on Friday, January 25, 2013 with alumna Dr. Zhenyu Wang (PhD '12):

Title: Walk Onto the Wall Street

Speaker: Dr. Zhenyu Wang, RGM Advisors, LLC

Abstract:  Zhenyu will share her experiences with the financial industry, especially in the field of high frequency trading.  She will describe high frequency trading, discuss the current job market, and outline the benefits of having a physics background in this field.

Bio: I graduated from Nigel Goldenfeld's group in Spring 2012. I am currently a quantitative researcher at RGM Advisors, LLC, which is a proprietary trading firm.
