Hi Physics Grad Students:

Starting Tuesday, June 26, the Physics Graduate Student Advisory Committee (GSAC) is running a survey to get a measure of the climate for grad students in the department, and we want your opinion! The results of the survey will be summarized in a report for physics grad students and will be used in the coming years to inform change aimed at improving the physics grad student experience at Illinois. The survey should take around 30 min to complete and will be open until Friday, August 3rd at 11:59 pm.

Here is the survey link: https://surveys.illinois.edu/sec/7660238

Initially, you will be asked for your netid login to verifying that you are a grad student affiliated with the physics department. After that the survey is anonymous. In no reports can the department or the Phys GSAC connect your name, netid, UIN, or email with your survey response.

The Physics Graduate Student Advisory Committee, or Phys GSAC for short, is a group of physics grad students facilitating communication between the department and the grad student body with a focus on academics. It is made up of 10-12 students from different subfields, years, and backgrounds. If you are interested in getting involved, keep an eye out in the fall for a nomination form.

We look forward to getting your responses
