Official Description

Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in physics intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: 1 to 4 undergraduate hours. 1 to 4 graduate hours. May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary.

Section Description

Superconductor Devices for Quantum Information Science Superconductor materials and devices have emerged as key components of quantum sensors and qubits for quantum computing and quantum simulation. In this course, we will cover the basic phenomena and physics of superconductivity and its implementation in Josephson devices for the exploration of quantum materials and in superconductor qubit architectures.
