Section Description
An introduction to Physics Education Research: This course will introduce theoretical topics in Physics Education Research, including: cognitive models of conceptual knowledge, personal epistemologies, transfer, responsive teaching, sociocultural theories of learning. Principles for instructional design will also be covered, and student projects will involve designing and testing an instructional activity. No prior knowledge of education research is required.
