Job Title: Quantitative Intern
Department: Global Markets – DB Analytics
Location: New York
Overview: The DB Analytics team develops a suite of cutting-edge financial-mathematical models used for trading and the risk management of cash and derivatives in all asset classes of the bank (rates, credit, foreign exchange, commodities, equities, inflation, money markets, mortgages , emerging markets and hybrids). This same suite drives many of the bank's regulatory and portfolio calculations, such as CRM, VaR, CVA, RWA. DB Analytics is the key analytics suite underlying applications.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be assigned a project for the 3 month period that will assist with the key responsibilities of the team.
These are:
• Development, maintenance and documentation of DB Analytics core components and models.
• Developing and enhancing models and algorithms for valuation and risk management.
• Providing operational solutions to Trading, IT, Finance, Global Banking, CCAR and Market Risk Management.
• Prompt response to DB Analytics user’s queries.
You will have:
• PhD (expected) in a quantitative field, ideally engineering, mathematics or physics.
• Financial engineering expertise (e.g. stochastic calculus and numerical methods).
• Strong mathematical skills and problem solving abilities.
• Fluency in C++ language and design patterns
