Coming in 2012: Physics Careers Seminar

Starting in Spring 2012, the Illinois Physics Department will host the Physics Careers seminar series.  This series -- intended for both Illinois Physics graduate and undergraduate students -- will provide a forum for Illinois Physics and ECE alumni to describe the diverse career paths possible for physics PhDs in industry, government, medicine, law, publishing, etc.

The first Physics Careers seminar will be given by Dr. Jerome Hubacek of Lam Research Corporation, a semiconductor company, and will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 in Rm. 190 ESB.
