In-Person Admitted Student Day
Saturday, April 4, 2026 8:30AM -3:30PM
Join Illinois Physics faculty, staff and undergraduate students for a day dedicated to learning about what it means to major in Physics or CS + Physics at UIUC.
The all day event includes the following:
- Department overview by Professor Yann Chemla - Associate Head for Undergraduate programs
- Curriculum overview by Merissa Milton and Susmita Saha - Academic Advisors
- Q&A panel with current UIUC physics undergraduates
- Lab tours
- Student services overviews (Engineering Career Services, International Programs in Engineering, Housing, etc.)
Virtual Admitted Student Day
Saturday, April 18th, 2026, 11:30AM - 2:00PM
If you can't make it to the in-person day, join Illinois Physics online (Zoom) for an afternoon learning about the Physics department and our two majors: Physics and CS + Physics.
This event includes the following:
