Deadlines for a May 2012 Graduation

Following are important deadlines for those planning a doctoral defense for a May 2012 graduation:

March 16: Last day to add your name to the degree list if you would like your name to appear in the campus wide commencement program. You can add your name using Student Self Service. If you have problems adding your name, please contact the grad programs office. More commencement information can be found here.

April 6: Last day for doctoral students to take the final examination for a May 2012 graduation. Remember that you must be registered for the entire semester in which you take your dissertation defense. More information regarding doctoral examinations can be found here.

April 20: Last day for doctoral students to deposit their dissertations in the Graduate College Thesis Office for a May 2012 graduation. Additional Spring 2012 academic deadlines can be found here.
