Fermilab Trip Organized by UIUC AVS Chapter

The UIUC American Vacuum Society (AVS) Student Chapter is organizing its third trip to Fermilab on Friday, April 6. All are welcome.

The group will leave UIUC on Friday April 6th at 8:00 am from the MRL lobby (104 South Goodwin Ave) and arrive at Fermilab by lunch. As soon as we get there, we will have lunch and then go on the tour. The group is planning on leaving Fermilab at 4:00 pm at the very latest, and should be back on campus before 8:00 pm.

All expenses (transportation and food) will be covered by the AVS as a benefit of being an AVS member. If you are not yet a member, signing up only takes seconds. Simply visit the national AVS website by clicking here and filling out your information. For undergraduate and graduate students, the first year of membership is free:  just state your status in the comment box when signing up and select the option of paying by mail.
