Electronic Thesis Deposit Video Tutorial: Get the information you need for a swift and successful deposit with the Graduate College's video tutorial on electronic thesis and dissertation (ETD) deposit at http://www.grad.illinois.edu/video (a master's version and a doctoral version are available). The video tutorial includes segments on deadlines, applying for graduation, filing a title page, preparing the CCA, submitting ETD files and corrections to the Graduate College for review, and (in the doctoral version) completing the Survey of Earned Doctorates and ProQuest agreement.
File Your Title Page With the Thesis Office for May Graduation: Filing your title page with the Thesis Office early is a key step in preparing for a quick and trouble-free thesis deposit.
To submit your title page to the Thesis Office, (i) Write to thesis@illinois.edu, (ii) attach your PDF or MS Word document, and (iii) include the words "title page" in the subject line.
Be sure to e-mail your title page to the Thesis Office before obtaining signatures on your Certificate of Committee Approval (CCA). The Thesis Office must verify that the version of your name and other information on your title page agree with the University’s records. (Note: The thesis title does not need to be final until the CCA is signed by the master’s adviser or doctoral committee.)
