Professor Tony Liss is Looking for a Student in Experimental High Energy Physics

Prof. Tony Liss is currently looking for a student to join his experimental high energy physics group. Prof. Liss has carried out research at the Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL) since 1984 -- where he served as the convener of the Top group at Fermilab and was one of the leaders of the analysis for the discovery of the top quark -- and more recently at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.

Prof. Liss' current research is primarily conducted at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. Prof. Liss is a member of the ATLAS collaboration at LHC and, together with his post docs and students, works on the ATLAS muon detector system.

For additional information about Prof. Liss and his research, please see his departmental website or the HEP website. If you're interested in discussing possible research opportunities with Prof. Liss, please contact him at tml@illinois.edu.
