Theoretical Biophysics Research Presentation by Prof. Zan Luthey-Schulten, Friday, Sept. 28

Prof. Zan Luthey-Schulten (Chemistry) will give a presentation on research opportunities in her theoretical biophysics group in Phys. 596 (Physics Graduate Orientation) from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, in Rm. 144 Loomis.

Prof. Luthey-Schulten's research involves studying energy landscapes of biological molecules to study the evolution of their structure-function relationship. She is particularly interested in physical bioinformatics, protein folding, the evolution of translation, and the origins of life.

Any graduate students interested in research opportunities in theoretical biophysics -- even those not enrolled in Phys 596 -- are welcome to attend Phys. 596 class during Prof. Luthey-Schulten's presentation.
