2014 Grad Travel Award Program Announced

The Physics Grad Travel Award website is now available for Spring 2014 conference travel, i.e., conference travel during March 1 - August 31, 2014.  The deadline for applications for Spring 2014 conference travel is February 1, 2014.

The purpose of the Illinois Physics Graduate Student Travel Award Fund is to provide opportunities for graduate students to attend special conferences or workshops or to participate in professional development activities that are not funded by their advisers' research grants. Travel Awards are limited to a maximum of $500.

A complete application must include:

1.Completed Graduate Travel Award form
2.A brief letter of support from the applicant's thesis adviser, which can be submitted to Associate Head Lance Cooper via e-mail (slcooper@illinois.edu)
