Special Conversational English Class for International Students and Their Families

This semester Kat Kolumban will be the teaching assistant for the Special English Class, a conversational English class that is offered on campus for international students, their family members, and members of the community. In the class students will practice English for daily life activities like eating in a restaurant, going to the doctor, going shopping, etc.

If students are interested in taking the class, they need to sign up for a placement interview. Students can go to http://kkolumban.wix.com/sec-uiuc-2014 to get more information about the class and to sign up for the interview. Any way that you could pass this information to your international students and their families would be greatly appreciated. Please email Kat Kolumban (kolumba2@illinois.edu) for additional information.
