Dental and Vision Insurance Information for Grad Students

Graduate students holding waiver-generating appointments are provided dental and vision insurance by the University at no additional cost. This insurance is separate from student health insurance. These students will be automatically enrolled in the plan upon the completion of their appointment papers. For students with an appointment beginning in the spring term, the coverage period begins February 1 and will continue through August 31, 2014.

All other graduate students can voluntarily enroll in the same dental or vision insurance plan by paying the annual premium. Graduate students may also voluntarily enroll dependents (spouse/domestic partner/children) for coverage. Students wishing to voluntarily enroll themselves or their dependents must enroll during the Enrollment/Change Period of February 1 - 28, 2014.
