Summer Interns Needed at Wolfram Alpha

Job Title: Special Functions identities
Job Description: Implement, verify, and format identities for the special functions of mathematical physics.
Requires a minimum bachelor of math or physics, master preferred, & good working knowledge of Mathematica also required.
Job Title: Physical Systems Researcher
Job Description: Collect formulas about physical systems in computable formats. Must have at least a bachelor in physics, preferable masters in physics. Requires a strong interest and background in theoretical physics. Must know Mathematica well.
Job Title: Geoprojection Programmer
Job Description: Extend the covering and scope of geographic map projection-related functionality of the Wolfram language.
Geographic projections are maps from the sphere to a plane and a large number has been developed over the last few hundred years. The Wolfram Language knows the most important ones and the goal of the internship is to extend the collections of projections.
Successful applications are master level (or higher) students of mathematics, physics, or geodesy. Strong programming background and familiarity with Mathematica required.
