Tuesday, April 15, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. in Lincoln Hall 1090
Women in Science (WiS) is an organization open to undergraduates, graduates, faculty, and staff, as well as anyone who supports and promotes women in the sciences. WiS' next event is a panel of diverse participants who will discuss the various paths students can take to prepare for graduate/professional school in the gap years between undergrad and graduate/professional school: Jennifer Crum (Coordinator for the Medical Scholars Program, College of Medicine), Dr. William Brown (National and International Scholarships Program), Amanda Owings (PhD program, Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology), and Dr. Jessica Hekman (PhD program, Animal Sciences). Light refreshments will be served! If you have questions or would like more information about WiS, please email womeninscience.uiuc@gmail.com.
