The College Teaching Effectiveness Network (CTEN) is a graduate student-run organization open to graduate students and postdocs from all departments across campus. CTEN’s mission is to sponsor seminars and workshops addressing issues relevant to effective teaching at the college level and preparing for a career in academia. As the leadership of CTEN, the Steering Committee works to identify and prepare workshops to meet the needs and interests of TAs across campus. If you would like to join the steering committee and help plan future workshops, then please attend the upcoming Steering Committee meeting. Note that serving on the CTEN Steering Committee counts as Discipline-based service for the Teacher Scholar Certificate.
