Panel Discussion: Careers in Data Science, June 9-13

Join Versatile PhD for their next free web-based panel discussion: Careers in Data Science. This discussion features several STEM PhDs who have become data scientists since leaving the academy. Data scientists are employed in all types of organizations: government agencies, private companies, non-profits – and many of them are PhDs. If you have experience analyzing large quantitative data sets, designing and administering databases, and/or developing coding for data analysis, you could conceivably become a data scientist. Panelists introduce themselves on Monday, June 9, and answer your questions for the rest of the week. The format is asynchronous, you can participate anytime during the week.
