Are you interested in learning about the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship – one of the premiere fellowships for students in science, technology, engineering, math, and most social science fields? If so, you should attend the Graduate College’s workshop on September 12. It will provide an extensive overview of the fellowship program and offer tips on preparing an effective application.

The NSF-GRF provides three years of support, a $32,000 stipend, coverage of tuition, and access to international research opportunities. Applicants must be US citizens in their 1st or 2nd year of graduate school pursuing a master’s or PhD in an eligible STEM field.

The workshop will feature Dr. William Hahn, former Director of the NSF-GRF program; Dr. Ken Vickery, Director of the Graduate College’s Office of External Fellowships; and Ritu Raman and Cybelle Smith, current Illinois NSF Fellows.

Registration is required. Register online. For details on the fellowship, see the NSF-GRF listing in the Fellowship Opportunities database
