Open positions are available for motivated postdoctoral scientists at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Our research focuses on cancer genomics and computational biology, with the goal of developing mathematical methods to understand the underlying genetics of human diseases and the molecular epidemiology of disease causing organisms.

We are located at Rutgers University's New Brunswick campus and collaborate extensively with scientists and physicians at institutions in the New York metropolitan area, specifically through the National Cancer Institute's Center for Topology of Cancer Evolution and Heterogeneity (https://psoc.c2b2.columbia.edu).

Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in quantitative sciences (physics, mathematics, computer science, computational biology, or engineering), and have proficiency in programming and statistical analysis with demonstrated experience in problem solving. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential; knowledge of biology and genomics is not required, but highly valued.

Interested applicants should submit a brief letter of interests, a CV, and the contact information for three references to Dr. Hossein Khiabanian. More information about the research topics and publications can be found at http://www.khiabanian-lab.org.
