MATLAB Technical Workshops on Campus
9/8/2015
Join us for MATLAB technical workshops on campus sponsored by Technology Services at Illinois. The workshops are designed to help you learn and ramp up on MATLAB software.
Faculty, staff, researchers and students are all welcome to register and attend. Feel free to pass this invitation along to everyone.
Date: Thursday, September 17
Location: L410 Digital Computer Lab, 1304 W Springfield
Our event features two technical MATLAB workshops presented by a MathWorks engineer.
Session 1
10:00AM – 12:00PM: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with MATLAB
During this introductory workshop, we provide an overview of MATLAB and introduce you to the powerful statistical analysis and visualization capabilities available in the MATLAB product family. We will demonstrate how to analyze and visualize data, present desktop tools for editing code, and show you how to publish and share your results.
Session 2
1:30PM – 3:30PM: Parallel Computing with MATLAB
Learn how to boost the execution speed of computationally and data-intensive problems using MATLAB and the Parallel Computing Toolbox. We introduce and demonstrate the high-level programming constructs that allow you to easily create and execute parallel applications without low-level programming.
