Writing in Academia for International Graduate Students

Mandatory Informational Meeting: Sunday, September 20, 3 - 4:30 p.m., Undergraduate Libary, room 251

The Writers Workshop is offering a free 4-week seminar for ESL/multilingual writers. Topics include American-style academic writing, particularities of writing in graduate school, stages of the writing process, metalanguage and organization, coherence and cohesion, and gathering and effectively integrating sources. To participate you must attend the informational meeting to receive information and sign up, and you must attend all four sessions. Students who have participated in Writing in Academia in the past are not eligible.
