HHMI International Student Research Fellowship

The Graduate College’s Office of External Fellowships is now accepting departmental nominations for the 2016 Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s International Student Research Fellowship. Open exclusively to international students in the biomedical and related sciences who are in their 2nd or 3rd year of graduate study, HHMI fellowships provide up to three years of support. Eligible fields include biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, and plant biology, as well as interdisciplinary research. Fellowships provide a $30,000 annual stipend, a $3,000 fellow’s allowance, and a $10,000 institutional allowance.
Eligible departments may nominate up to three applicants for the campus competition, and applications must arrive in the Graduate College by October 22, 2015.
