Engineering ECS Career Fair, Sept. 11-12, 2018

On Tuesday, September 11th and Wednesday, September 12th, the Engineering Career Services, in partnership with Engineering EXPO, will be offering Illinois Engineering students access to as many as 450 companies recruiting for internships and full-time employment opportunities. We are excited to continue to offer one career fair in which the outstanding students of Engineering EXPO play a critical role in delivering an impactful experience for their peers and for our College as a whole.

Over the next week, we are asking for your partnership in helping our students prepare for their participation in the career fair. Here are the basics of what, when and where that you can share with students:

Date: September 11th & 12th

Time: 12:00 – 6:00 pm

Place: Activity and Recreation Center (ARC)

For more details about the career fair, please encourage students to download the Career Fair Plus app from the App Store of their choice. The app provides a wealth of easily accessible tools such as a map of the career fair and a listing of all participating companies, all of which will equip them for a positive and productive experience at the fair. We invite you to take a moment to stop by the career fair. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect with your former students and Illinois Engineering alumni that are returning to campus. Most of all, visiting the fair is a great opportunity to witness your current students communicating and representing the outstanding skills that you are helping them to develop. There will be many proud moments that you do not want to miss.

There is no better place for students to meet and talk with so many company representatives in one venue. In fact, hundreds of interviews take place within the few days after the fall career fair, resulting in offers for some. Most of these interviews are scheduled based on connections that were made at the career fair.
