Alex An and Preetha Sarkar Selected to Attend 2019 Lindau-Nobel Meeting in Germany

Illinois Physics grad students Alex An and Preetha Sarkar have been selected to attend the 69th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Lindau, Germany. This highly competitive travel award is sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Alex is currently a PhD student in Bryce Gadway's experimental cold atom research group and Preetha is a PhD student in Nadya Mason's experimental condensed matter group.

Michael follows former Illinois grad students K. Michael Martini (Nigel Goldenfeld group), Markita Landry (Yann Chemla group) and William McGehee (Brian DeMarco group) to receive a Lindau-Nobel travel award.
