Illinois Physics Graduate Student Rachel Nguyen Receives a 2020 NSF Grad Research Fellowship

Illinois Physics graduate student Rachel Nguyen was awarded a 2020 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.  Incoming graduate student Debora Mroczek also received a 2020 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.  Only about 2000 fellowships were awarded from over 12,000 applications.  Caitlin Kengle received an Honorable Mention in the 2020 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship competition.

Rachel is a second-year graduate student working with Yoni Kahn and Caitlin is a second-year graduate student working with Peter Abbamonte.
