Summer Internship at Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT).

An AFRL summer intern to work with the Quantum Information group at AFIT on a project related to quantum information. The QuanTech group is looking for interested candidates to come to AFIT for about two and a half months in the summer, ideally a grad student, but either an undergraduate student or a junior researcher can be accommodated too, if needed.

The projects we are primarily interested in are related to Majorana's detection and manipulation, but other choices can be considered, such as anything generally related to theory development for describing topological states of matter, etc., as well as continuing the project the student is currently working on.

This internship can be a very good thing to put on a resume, and the stipend is also much more than what a typical physics grad student would make. Would also work in situations when there is difficulty with obtaining funding for the summer.

US citizenship is required.
