The Nanoscience and Technology division at Argonne National Laboratory is seeking three Postdoctoral Appointees to develop and conduct independent research related to quantum information science utilizing the new Quantum Emitter Electron Nanomaterial Microscope (QuEEN-M). This microscope is part of a DOE NSRC grant to study quantum defects and emitters using state-of-the-art probe corrected STEM, cathodoluminesence, and ultrafast techniques. Postdocs will be responsible for performing collaborative research with internal and external scientists, including planning, designing and executing experiments. Appointees will develop novel experimental techniques along with staff, utilizing the QuEEN-M. Other duties will include data analysis and management, sample preparation, other metrologies and reporting results in appropriate form with an emphasis on high impact scientific journals.
