Summer 2022 Health Insurance and Health Service Fee Waiver Policy

Due to the ongoing circumstances of the pandemic, the Graduate College, with the support of the Chancellor and the Office of the Provost, has again this year approved a modification to the Summer Automatic Fee Waiver Policy. This modification will extend the fee waivers under this policy to include partial coverage of the Health Insurance Fee and full coverage of the Health Service Fee for Summer 2022.

The Summer Automatic Waiver Policy provides graduate students who do not have a summer waiver-generating appointment, but who held one in the previous spring, a summer automatic waiver if they register in the summer term.

As a result, a summer automatic waiver will provide the same tuition waiver granted during Spring 2022 plus a waiver for the following fees: Service Fee, AFMFA Fee, Library/Technology Fee, 87% of the Health Insurance Fee and full waiver of the Health Service Fee.
