Point VR Does Science at the Market

Illinois Physics graduate students Brandon Buncher, Amanda Gatto Lamas, and Kristen Schumacher represented Science at the Market on June 25, 2022 as part of Point VR, a project developed by Kristen Schumacher that allows participants to experience a simulation of falling into a black hole and interacting with gravitational waves generated from black hole collisions. Kristen is a PhD student in Nico Yunes' group, Amanda is a PhD student in Eric Chitambar's group, and Brandon is a PhD student in Gil Holder's group.
